Houston, We Have a Solution!
The Kennedy Space Center Visitors Complex has added the new exciting Shuttle Launch Experience where visitors strap in and experience the sensation of a real shuttle launch!

During the planning stages of this multimillion dollar simulation experience, the artistic team encountered a major projection challenge.........the screens.
If you have ever tried to hang a rear projection screen horizontally you might just understand.
Four 46’ wide screens needed to be suspended over ride vehicles at a 15° angle. IAstage mocked up and tested the sceens at a NASA highbay assembly room last year. After months of testing, 4 custom truss/screen assemblies were employed into Ride Simulation Bays early this spring.
In the pre-show area, IA Stage coordinated and installed a plethora of projection and sound equipment in a precise configuration for a full 360° sound and light extravaganza.

The ride is scheduled to open Memorial Day weekend 2007.
