Winner Winner – Better Than Chicken Dinner!
Thanks to everyone who stopped by in Louisville, especially to those who participated in the Passport Game! Twelve companies, including yours truly, pooled together to create a fantastic pile of prizes. The goal was to introduce the new friends we met at the conference to our friends out there on the show floor.
Many, many thanks to Associated Controls + Design, Barbizon Lighting Company, Bellatex Stage Curtains, Candela Controls, Inc., Florida State University, H & H Specialties, Tomcat USA, Total Structures, Vincent Lighting Systems, Wayne State University, and Yale School of Drama for your generous donations. These folks donated everything from branded swag items and cash for the grand prize gift card to gourmet coffee to valuable tools of the trade to t-shirts specially made for the game!
Out of 70+ entrants, approximately 25 were in attendance during the drawing. (Participants did not have to be present to win.) Two of the folks in attendance won prizes – a fabulous gift bag from Yale School of Drama and a rolling cooler with t-shirts, mugs, and other cool swag items from IA Stage. Unfortunately, I didn’t catch those delightful folks so I could share their names with you here. (Bad form on my part. I’ll own that.)
Here’s the list of the other folks whose names were drawn along with a picture of each of them with their prize!
We’ve got five more winners out there, and I’ll post their photos as soon as I receive them. They are:
Jacob Kelleher of Boston College won a 119 piece Kobalt Tool Bag from Associated Controls + Design.
Joy Leis of Berea College Theatre Laboratory won a pair of brand new gloves and an LED flashlight from Associated Controls + Design.
Anna Morehead of Morehead State University won a goodie bag stuffed with swag from Vincent Lighting Systems.
Nicol Couch of the University of New Mexico won a groovy insulated cup from Tomcat USA.
Amy Hazel of First Stage Children’s Theatre won a nifty IA Stage camp chair.
